We act in civil
and criminal matters. Civil matters include disputes over contracts,
debt recovery, insolvency and dealings with creditors, Family Law
and de facto litigation, deceased estates, Family Provision Act
claims, employment disputes, liquor licensing, appeals from decisions
of courts and tribunals.
We also act
for defendants in criminal proceedings in various jurisdictions,
and in respect of traffic and minor matters.
When appropriate
the firm instructs Senior and Junior Counsel to advise and appear
in Court proceedings. We also have access to a range of experts
and consultants in various disciplines when required for the carriage
of a case. Apart from barristers (Counsel) these include engineers,
architects, surveyors, town planners, accountants, medical specialists,
psychologists, actuaries, handwriting experts, translators and many
